Shih-Feng Chen, from Taiwan, lost both hands in a childhood accident and took up painting by mouth at seventeen, winning his first international scholarship just a year later. His indomitable spirit so inspired his country that his story was included in Taiwanese school textbooks, and his work — in oils, ink and watercolour — has been exhibited internationally. This card carries one of his oil paintings.
