Card No. 2623 | Nativity Reflection | Luciano Alves dos Nascimento

The first Christmas, told in warm golds and rich blues. Nativity Reflection gathers Mary, the Christ Child and Joseph in a lantern-lit stable, with shepherds kneeling in wonder and lambs resting in the straw. Through the arched doorway, a starry night sky looks on.

A classic, reverent nativity scene for family, friends and church communities, and for anyone who keeps the true meaning of Christmas close. Blank inside for your own message, with envelope included. $2.55 each, with bulk discounts available and the option to have your cards personalised.

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1986, Luciano Alves dos Nascimento became tetraplegic at 15 after a diving accident off the Arpoador rocks. He discovered mouth painting in 2003 through occupational therapy at ABBR, a Brazilian rehabilitation centre, starting with pencil sketches before moving on to gouache and acrylics.

Luciano's work has since featured in a number of exhibitions, and several newspapers have published articles on his paintings.

Every card is reproduced from an original painting by a mouth or foot painting artist. Your purchase supports their creative work and independent livelihood. Self-help, not charity.
