Card No. 2628 | Australian Summer | Elodie Cazes

Christmas, the Aussie way. Australian Summer takes us to a shady campsite under the gum trees, with tents pitched in the long grass, the washing drying on the line and a pair of curious kangaroos dropping by to say g'day. It's the lazy, sun-dappled holiday so many of us look forward to all year.

A joyful choice for family and friends here at home, and a perfect taste of an Australian Christmas to send overseas. Blank inside for your own message, with envelope included. $2.55 each, with bulk discounts available and the option to have your cards personalised.

Elodie Cazes moved with her family to New Zealand at the age of 12, where a diving accident into a shallow pond left her tetraplegic. She learned to paint with her mouth during therapy in hospital and quickly came to love it.

After returning to France, she joined the Association as a student member in 1997, becoming an Associate Member in 2009 and a Full Member in 2011. Working mainly in acrylics, she has long painted landscapes, animals and flowers. Now living in Australia, she brings that same eye to the Australian bush, as Australian Summer shows.

Every card is reproduced from an original painting by a mouth or foot painting artist. Your purchase supports their creative work and independent livelihood. Self-help, not charity.
